Beach Bound!

After leaving the Dunavants we took the short drive on to Myrtle Beach...this was Olivia's favorite mode of transportation
On the first night we had a super classy hot dog meal! Daddy and Alvin sat up at the counter with Olivia

Daddy and his girls
This is how Olivia napped most days...she would just pass out
Cookie and Pop Pop came this year!
Olivia the fish swimming with her diving toys
So sweet
The water slide!!
I was so proud of Olivia doing this all by herself! I had parents coming up to me all week asking how she learned to swim so well...shout out to Ms. Mildred!
She learned that she would go faster if she laid down
Who is this doll face??

Ana Blair is difficult to get a pic of these days...as soon as you set her down she takes off
Pajama Walk

Sweet Ana Blair was ready for a nap
Olivia and Nana
Ana Blair doing her favorite thing...snacking

Not such a great effort at a family pic
Tried for a little impromptu Cherry Tree photo shoot, but it didn't pan out...sorry Melia!

I love to see these two together

She came up with this pose on her own...do I see a swimsuit competition in the future??

On the last day Olivia wanted a hair wrap, until she realized that it hurt!
We had such a good time at the beach, but it went by way too fast! We are SO excited we get to go back in September this year! Rest up, Marriott--we'll be back soon!
Now onto moving...my poor computer will be unplugged today until we are settled...maybe I can get more done that way! I'll post pics of the new house soon!

Reunited...And It Feels So Good!!

Last week we headed to the beach, but we made a (too) brief pitstop on the way to see the Dunavant family in Wilmington. Life has just not been the same here in Knoxville without them. We wondered how Olivia and Emma Grace would act after being apart for a whole year. But after about 30 seconds of shyness in the driveway, they picked up right where they left off. Bossing each other around, but having the time of their life! I don't have a picture, but they had their first sleepover and believe it or not, they slept all night long together!!

Sadly, this really is one of the best pictures I got the whole weekend. They were just so excited they couldn't sit still long enough for a picture.

Playing dress up
And these two got to be pretty quick friends too! They were hilarious to watch!
As you can see, both of these girls are eaters...so as long as puffs were free-flowing they were happy!
I have complained a lot about not being able to get a good pic of my girls together...try 4.

Another failed attempt

The infamous pose

I love how Ana Blair is holding on to Mia in this one.

We had so much and we miss you guys already! Can't wait to see you in September!
Tammy actually got a cute pic of the two of them together...
And the sleepover...

Down on the Farm

On our way home from Titi and Poppy's house, we stopped by at Pattie and Alvin's to say goodnight. Let me say, Alvin has kept cows my entire life and I have never seen all of them come to one person unless it was Alvin with feed. But they all came to the fence and even let her pet them. I thought these pictures were so sweet.

I am so happy that my girls will grow up with the best of both worlds. They will always be part of life on the farm with my family, but still part of civilization here in Knoxville! Believe it or not, this little prisspot can pee in the grass as good as any boy I know!

The 4th

We had a really great 4th of July this year. We always go to Aunt Titi and Poppy's for a cookout and some pool fun. We had perfect weather and yummy food. Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures because I spent most of the day in the water trying to keep an eye on my little water baby. And Ana Blair loved the water too! She just kicked and kicked and even let Michael put her under the water--she came up laughing!

9 Months

I say this every month, every day really, but I cannot believe that Ana Blair is 9 months old already! Time has really flown since she was born. She continues to be the sweetest little baby. She has shed a couple of tears this month with the frustration of learning to crawl and pull up. This child is truly going to be a handful. Olivia is 4 years old and has never acknowledged an outlet--Ana Blair cannot be torn away from them! She keeps me busy! She is happy, she likes to eat table food, not such a fan of baby food, loves to crawl and loves to laugh at Sister. She is a good sleeper, but an early riser. She says Mama, Daddy, Nana, Baby and Bye-Bye. I cannot remember life before her.
Excuse the dirty face in this pic, but it seems like it stays this way!

My Little Mermaid

For the past 8 days Olivia has had swim lessons. At the end of these 8 days, these are the things I know: she and I are both physically and mentally exhausted. She is sick, apparently from swimming from the funk that comes from 6 children in a pool from sun up until sundown. We are the proud owners of a baby doll that can swim who is now in the process of "swimming" all the way to our house because I had to order her online--thanks Jennifer!! She is in the middle of a heated debate with her Daddy about piercing her ears--thanks Anna! And lastly, she can swim!! She loves it (unless water goes up her nose--and watch out if that happens). She can float on her back by herself, jump off the diving board and swim to the ladder, swim across the deep end of the pool. And she almost swam from the diving board the whole length of the pool without a breath--only because she does not enjoy taking a breath while swimming and would prefer for her lungs to explode rather than taking a breath...even with Ms. Mildred screaming, "Pick your head up, take a breath!"

Thanks to the Denton's for videoing her for me!! I wouldn't even begin to know how to download videos from our camera to the computer. I think I am seeing a Flip in my future!

I am SO proud of her!!
