Monster Mash Lunch

Scared you??
Olivia's teacher wanted a Monster themed lunch, so me as super room mom (joking) did my best to oblige and thus...the Monster Mash Lunch...seriously, we have some really great and creative moms in Olivia's class this year. We had Mummy hot dogs, monster pizzas, ghost chips, monster mouths (fruit), green mac & cheese and monster punch. Cute, easy ideas for Halloweens to come!

Olivia's team getting ready for the scavenger hunt...in front--Sullivan (aka Olivia's boyfriend)...he painted her a picture and from that moment on she has been in LUV

Running past me, she was so excited she found one of "Steve's bones" part of the scavenger hunt
Taking a whack at the pinata...let's just say this delicate flower will never be a power hitter...

Costume Parade

Thursday at Olivia's school was Costume Parade day! She had so much fun...Ana Blair was Little Bo Peep's sheep this year, but she wasn't able to make it to the parade because I was working at the school all day. It never dawned on me until that morning that I should have gotten her a stuffed sheep for school...and can you believe that out of all the millions of toys in our playroom, we do not own a sheep?? When we got to school that morning Ms. Nancy asked Olivia where her sheep was..."at home taking a nap with Nana." Ms. Nancy about fell over she was laughing so hard! Then she went down the hall and found her a sheep!

Pumpkin Face

So many of my posts have been about Olivia lately...I wanted to remind everyone that pumpkin face is still alive and well. Isn't she the cutest darn thing you've ever seen? Maybe I'm a little biased...

I have a few pics of Olivia in her costume this year, but they aren't on the computer yet and Ana Blair hasn't worn her's yet...
I will update tomorrow!

Pizza Day

Olivia and I both have a favorite day of the month...pizza day! This is the glorious day that mommies don't have to pack lunches and children don't have to eat yet another pb&j...the pizza fairy magically arrives at lunchtime with pizza! Yay!
At Olivia's school, they always wear their school t-shirts...try making this thing look cute! This literally was our first pair of jeans and she was so excited, but by the end of the day she had decided she didn't like them...and who can blame her? Stick with an elastic waistband as long as you can sister!
