Big Change!

For weeks Michael has been after me to get Olivia's haircut. I had convinced him to let it stay long until after her birthday party, which was on Saturday. This morning (Monday), he announced we would be going to get it cut. I was very nervous about the big change, and about my baby not looking like a baby anymore. Too be honest, I don't think I ever could have done it if it weren't for the new baby girl on the way. But, all in all, I'm really happy with it and she loves it! But, she definitely doesn't look like a baby anymore!

Sweet Baby

I know I've already said it, but I really can't believe my little girl is already 3 years old. Where has the time gone? Here are some pictures of her from each birthday, she has changed so much!

Olivia's 3rd Birthday Party!

I cannot believe my sweet Olivia Kate is 3! On Saturday, her Aunt Titi and Poppy threw her the best birthday party ever! They really went all out for her, and she loved every minute of it!
The beautiful cake, thanks to Miss Judith!

Olivia and Aunt Titi getting ready to go down the inflatable water slide, she was very excited before, not so sure about it afterwards!
Please notice the blue lips, her favorite part of the party was the snow-cone machine and the blue icees!
Relaxing before the guests arrive! Titi even bought her a birthday outfit that coordinated with the polka dot and cupcake theme of the party!
Chillin' out with Alvin after the horse and carriage rides--she loved the horse rides, I was so surprised! I thought she would be afraid, like her mommy!

The Night Before Birthday!

The day I actually started going into labor with Olivia, I was determined to eat my "last supper" at Mellow Mushroom. My whole family was there with me because I was also determined to find a new comforter set for my bed, but that's a whole other story! So, every year since then, we have gone to eat at Mellow Mushroom on the night before Olivia's birthday.
My family has made me promise to come up with a better option before this baby is born because none of them can stand Mellow Mushroom!
I just love this picture of Olivia walking into the restaurant with my mom and aunt Pattie (two of her favorite people in the whole world)!

Dinner Date

Tonight we got the rare opportunity to meet up for dinner with our good friends Bob and Shannon and their two little girls, Annabelle and Madelyn. I guess it was a kind of preparation for Michael to see what life with two little girls will be like!
Somehow I convinced Olivia to stay in her seat until she was done eating, but once I let her up, this is what the rest of the meal looked like. She would not leave that poor baby alone! But Madelyn was a great sport about it!

We had fun seeing you guys! I wish we lived close enough we could do it more often!

Boo Boo

We had a little scare this afternoon that resulted in an unplanned trip to the doctor's office. My "graceful" daughter tripped over her rocking horse in her bedroom and fell face first into her dresser. Michael happened to be home about to start doing some yard work, or I would probably be in the hospital with a heart attack right now! I have never seen so much blood in my life. By the time we got to the doctor's office I wasn't even sure if we had left any teeth behind. Fortunately, the cut on the outside of her mouth wasn't deep enough to need stitches, just these little glue strips to hold the cut together. When we left, Michael said to me he's pretty sure she's going to have a scar but thought the doctor was a little scared to tell the crazy pregnant lady. The inside of her mouth was pretty bad though. He had to cut, yes cut, without numbing, some loose skin away. But he said with it being inside her mouth, it would probably heal quicker without stitches. And we're on a 10 day run of amoxicillin, what an eventful afternoon!

Its A Girl!

This has been such a busy week, but Tuesday morning Michael, Olivia and I went to the doctor to find out that we are having another baby girl! We were shocked, to say the least--because this pregnancy has been the complete opposite of my first one. But we are thrilled that Olivia will have a little sister to grow up with! I cannot imagine life without my sisters!
Everything looks good with the baby, so that is the most important part! She yawned during the ultrasound, it was so cute! She is measuring about a week big right now, so they may move my due date up a few days (which I would not complain about)!

Happy Birthday TiTi!

Yesterday was Aunt Titi's birthday, so we packed up and went to Spring City for the afternoon! Olivia loves her Aunt Titi very much!

Here is a picture of Olivia celebrating Titi's birthday for the first time, I can't believe how much she's grown up!

It's Official!

Michael and I are having another baby, due October 9! We will find out boy or girl a week from tomorrow. Olivia will not believe there is a possibility it could be a girl, she is convinced it is a "baby buoy!" I have to admit I feel like it might be a boy too because this pregnancy is absolutely opposite from Olivia!
This was the best picture I could get! I've been trying for weeks to get a cute one of her holding an ultrasound. She really is excited, believe it or not!
